Roof Glazing Options

It is very important when designing your conservatory to consider what type of roof  will be most suitable. For example, in South facing Conservatories solar control might be vitally important to minimise the risk of overheating. At Windows Of Distinction we offer a number of different roof and glazing options, and are happy to discuss these with you.

1. Polycarbonate

Available in either 25mm or 35mm thickness, and a range of finishes including Heatguard, polycarbonate offers the most cost effective solution for Conservatory roofing.

2. Glass

Our glass units are always high insulation, featuring Argon gas filling with Planitherm Total+ insulating glass, giving better sound and heat insulation than polycarbonate.

You can upgrade this to our easy clean, solar control Celcius Glass that comes in a number of finishes from clear through to blue tint.

3. Tile & Slate Effect

Our Supalite tile and slate effect roofs give excellent insulation and makes your Conservatory feel more like a room. They can incorporate roof lights as shown on the example.

These roofs make a popular upgrade - replacing tired polycarbonate or glass roofs on your existing Conservatory.

4. Warm Roof

Excellent insulation is also a feature of our flat warm roof. Like a conventional felt roof except using modern, longer lasting materials, you can also incorporate glazed roof pods into them.
