Energy rated windows are a relatively new concept in the double glazing industry, but based on the same principles and style that have been used by "white goods" manufacturers for many years. At Windows Of Distinction in Teignmouth we use high insulating glass units to create "A" rated windows as standard.

We achieve this by using the latest 6 chamber Upvc profile, the Optima system from Profile 22, along with 28mm thick double glazed units sporting Planitherm Total+ insulating glass to the inner pane, argon gas filled cavity and "warm edge" spacer bars to vastly reduce the cold transfer from outer pane to inside that is associated with the usual silver aluminium spacer bar.

For even better insulation values you can upgrade to 36mm thick triple glazing to achieve the equivalent of a A++ rating!
