Conservatories

As with our windows, everything is fully bespoke, we do not have standard sizes or styles, so you can let your imagination run wild. For your basework choose from our innovative "Durabase" system or use conventional building materials, and for the roof you can specify polycarbonate or glass for maximum light, or our brilliant lightweight warmroof slate or tile effect for superb insulation.

From the smallest porch to the largest Conservatory we can handle it all. With so much choice, please do not hesitate to ask us anything - advice is free!

Sun Room Style

A Sunroom is a sloping roof conservatory and is the most cost effective option. The roof can be glazed with polycarbonate, glass or even a solid warm roof

Georgian & Edwardian Style

This roof has "hips" that join onto a ridge extending from the house wall. The big advantage to this over a sun room style is much more head room and a feeling of space is created. The roof is available in all roof options, with glass, polycarbonate and solid warm roof options.

Gable Front Style

A gable front conservatory has the ridge extending all the way from the house wall to the front frames, creating a triangular frame on top of the front frames. This gives a light and airy feel inside with the increased headroom. On the example above we have fitted a warm roof with glazed panels in, and extended the roof to create a soffit outside to which downlighters were fitted.

Bespoke

Do you need or desire something out of the ordinary? Then look no further. Whether you want a small porch or Conservatory to cover an awkward shape, or a very large structure to use as a swimming pool enclosure, we can help. Have a look at the gallery below to see just some of the examples that we have carried out.

Multi wall polycarbonate is the most cost effective roofing material and is available in 25mm or 35mm thickness in clear, opal or heatguard (silver/grey) which helps reflect heat and light away.

Our glass roofs are double glazed safety glass to the same "A rated" specification as our window glazing. They are also available in easy clean versions, and with a subtle blue or smoke tint. They are a better insulator for both heat and noise than polycarbonate roofing sheets.

The ultimate for heat and sound insulation - they are a purpose made lightweight Conservatory roof finished in a choice of tile or slate effect finishes. They are LABC approved and surpass modern building regulations and make your Conservatory fully usable all year round. We can also fit these roofs to existing Conservatories for people who want a more usable room fit for all year round use.
